The term “Siren Song” is derived from Greek mythology and the tale of Odysseus. According to legend, Sirens (mermaid-like creatures) sang their enticing Siren Song to the mariners. The sailors were drawn to the sirens' music by their attraction to it. In modern parlance, a siren song is referred to as a "calling," a "irresistible attraction," or a "deep need." Holly and Kevin Brown believe that doing what they love with the people they love is their "calling." The Browns' desire to share their globe trips with friends, family, and wine club members inspired them to create Siren Song wines. Every wine and food match is inspired by a unique and personal tale.

Ancient Stones Estate Vineyard in Walla Walla's Rocks District produces these limited-edition wines. The old Walla Walla River bed is home to this little AVA. Cobbles the size of softballs extend more than 300 feet into the earth, forcing vines to reach deep into the terroir in quest of water. These wines are robust and structured on the palate, thanks to deep roots and radiant heat from the rocks during maturation.
