Jamie Knee

Sommelier and Wine Educator

Jamie Knee Aka Petite Wine Traveler is based in Santa Barbara County. As a Sommelier & Wine Educator, Jamie hosts wine tasting experiences at resorts, restaurants, at sea, in homes, and for local businesses as team building exercises, with an eye towards lecturing and teaching wine education internationally. She is the Founder of Montecito Wine Society, a Wine Social Club that hosts unique wine experiences. Most recently she was the Wine Educator for Jackson Family Wines in Santa Barbara County. 

Jamie has contributed to several Wine and Wine Lifestyle publications including Somm Journal, Tasting Panel, Vintner Project, Locale Magazine, Edible, Aventura Lifestyles Magazine, Hallandale Digest and others. Additionally she has hosted over 100 Interviews & Tastings with Winemakers around the world. 

She serves as a judge at several Domestic and International Wine Competitions, including The San Francisco Chronicle, The Cal State Fair, The American Fine Wine Competition, The Pacific Rim Competition, The Alameda County Competition, The Rosé Competition, The Berliner Wine Trophy, and the Concours Mondial Brussels and Mexico. 

Jamie has a thirst for wine education, and in addition to a BS from University of Miami, Jamie’s wine credentials include Certified Specialist of Wine, Wine Spirits Education Trust Level 3, Court of Master Sommelier Level 1, Rioja Wine Educator, Spanish Wine Scholar, Cava Wine Educator & Ambassador, California Wine Appellation Specialist, American Wine Expert, Champagne Comité Certification, and Napa Rocks Certification. 

Prior to transitioning to exclusively the Wine Industry in 2018, Jamie resided in Miami, Florida, and ran a successful Lifestyle, Food & Wine Marketing Company since 2012.
