It’s also worth mentioning that since wineries are now able to welcome you back, the wine tasting experience will look a bit different than what you’re used to. Visits must be scheduled in advance, groups will be limited in size, and tastings will take place in seated areas at least six feet from other guests. You’ll also be required to wear a mask until seated.

1. Acumen

Acumen acquired its first vineyard on Atlas Peak in 2012. Acumen offers two captivating expressions of its mountain terroir. Its small-production PEAK wines come from the finest estate vineyard blocks and are then made as a selection of the best barrels from the best lots.

Open daily from 3 pm to 5 pm (weekdays) and 12 pm to 6 pm (weekends).

2. Alpha Omega Collective

Alpha Omega Collective showcases Bordeaux-inspired releases from Alpha Omega in Napa Valley, Burgundian varietals Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays from Tolosa in San Luis Obispo’s Edna Valley and Mediterranean reds from Perinet in Spain’s Priorat.

Open daily from 11 am to 7 pm for groups of six or less.

3. Arrow & Branch

Arrow&Branch exists to showcase Napa Valley’s finest vineyard sites and the wines that come from them. They source fruit from unique and exquisite vineyard sites, such as Vine Hill Ranch, Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, Arrow & Branch, Lewelling, and Stagecoach. These vineyards are all noted for having exceptional Napa Valley terroir.

4. Artesa Estate Vineyard

Established in 1991 by the oldest winemaking family in Spain, Artesa takes pride in blending old and new-world techniques to create the next generation of estate-grown wines. Located in the steep foothills of Mt. Veeder overlooking Los Carneros, the rocky soils and maritime climate of  Estate Vineyard produce world-class pinot noir and chardonnay.

5. Ashes & Diamonds

Ashes & Diamonds Winery is a love letter to Napa Valley. Ashes & Diamonds Winery’s mid-century approach extends to its architecture. Ashes & Diamonds Winery is the ultimate convergence of modern and old-school flavors, committed to offering a wide-ranging group of wines that adhere to an ethos of light-handed winemaking and transparency of terroir.

Open daily from 11 am to 7 pm. Location: Napa

6. Baldacci Family Vineyards

Baldacci Family Vineyards is a limited production, family-owned and operated winery run by second-generation vintner, Michael Baldacci. Established in 1998, the winery is well known for its single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon wines as well as for its friendly and welcoming hospitality.

Open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. Location: Napa

7. Bell Wine Cellar

Bell Wine cellar is situated off the beaten path, just south of Yountville, is an exquisite pale stone winery, shrouded by oak, bordered to the south by Hopper Slough, surrounded by vineyard and cloaked in quiet.

Open daily from 10 am to 4 pm for groups of eight or less. Location: Yountville

8. Benessere Vineyards

Benessere Vineyards is a small, family-owned boutique winery specializing in Italian varietals made in the heart of Napa Valley, where the soil is supremely suited for growing these types of grapes.

9. Bennett Lane

Located at the North end of the Napa Valley, where the valley floor meets the edge of the Mayacamas Mountains. Bennett Lane Winery makes quality and brings fruition in the bottle also committed to minimal intervention and gentle handling, from the harvest to bottling.

10. Beringer

Beringer Vineyards is the oldest continuously operating winery in the Napa Valley founded in 1876. In 2001, the estate was placed on the National Register.

Open Thursday through Monday from 10 am to 5 pm. Location: St. Helena

11. Cardinale

Cardinale is a limited-production Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon blended from renowned vineyards in Napa’s most distinctive mountain appellations.

Open daily from 11 am to 5 pm. Location: Oakville

12. Castello di Amorosa

Castello di Amorosa is an authentic style 13th Century Tuscan castle winery in the Napa Valley. Castello di Amorosa produces classically structured Italian-style wines that reflect California's unique climate, soil, and growing conditions.

13. Caymus Vineyards

Caymus Vineyards remains 100% family-owned by the Wagners. Charlie, Lorna Belle, and Chuck worked together as a remarkable team for over 30 years building Caymus Cabernet.

Open daily from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Location: Rutherford

14. Charles Krug

The oldest winery in Napa Valley is also home to California’s first tasting room. Opened for public tastings in 1882 by Charles Krug, the tasting room has evolved into a world-class hospitality center, renowned for its exceptional wines, stunning design, and storied heritage.

15. Clif Family Winery

Gary Erickson and Kit Crawford began their love of food and wine with cycling adventures through Italy where long days of cycling would end in leisurely evenings of good wine, food and hospitality. As great lovers of food, wine and adventure, Gary and Kit sought to bring these memorable experiences to their Napa Valley home.

16. Crocker Starr

The Crocker Estate is one of the Napa Valley’s oldest continually farmed land, dating as far back as the 1870’s when the Dowdell family established Dowdell & Sons Winery.

Open daily from 10 am to 3 pm. Location: St. Helena

17. Corison Winery

Corison Winery is a small family farm producing delicious Cabernet Sauvignons that speak of place. Over three decades, Cathy Corison and William Martin have built a special home to celebrate the best of our little corner of the world, benchland in the heart of the Napa Valley. Known for power and elegance, Corison wines are balanced to grace the table and are recognized throughout the world for their longevity and consistency.

18. Cliff Lede Vineyards

Cliff Lede Vineyards was established in 2002 by Canadian born Bordeaux enthusiast, Cliff Lede, following the acquisition of a sixty-acre estate in the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley. Cliff lede is one of the top 10 visited wineries in Napa.

Open Thursday through Monday from 10 am to 4 pm. Location: Yountville

19. David Arthur Vineyards

The David Arthur Estate is located high on Pritchard Hill, on the eastern hillsides of Napa Valley. The estate vineyards offer breathtaking views of the Mayacamas Mountain range and the valley floor 1200 feet below.

20. Darioush
